ISLAMABAD: A delegation of Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) Britain called on Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif and apprised him about their program to invest in 1300 Megawatt Electricity generation project to be completed in two years.
The delegation was led by Mass International Chairman, Mian Masroor Saeed while International Marketing Director Shakir Qureshi and others were part of delegation.
The delegation informed the Premier that the Mass International has planned to invest in 1300 Megawatt Power Project, The project will be completed in two years and it would have great impact on country’s economy besides provide jobs to more than 35,000 people.
They also informed the Premier that the Company has also completed the feasibility of 660 Megawatt power project in Bhaki Punjab and 50 Megawatt at Port Wasim Gaddani.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in a pleasant mood asked questions regarding the projects to delegation. Nawaz Sharif directed his staff to ensure complete protection of foreign investors and also ensure all facilities be provided to foreign investors.
Prime Minister Sharif was told by Mass International delegation that foreign investors after watching the development pace in Pakistan are ready to invest in different projects in the country but only hurdle they are facing is security issues.
The Premier ensured complete security to foreign investors and he also praised the patriotism of the delegation and said the foreign investors would be provided all state security.
Prime Minister Sharif also announced to allot land to company for installation of power project.
After meeting with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, the Mass International Director International Marketing Shakir Qureshi told Kashmir Link London, the Premier listened the recommendations and suggestions presented by delegation with passion and praised the spirit of investment by Mass International.
Qureshi said the Prime Minister was of the view that these projects would be an attraction for other foreign investors.
