PM Nawaz Sharif will make highest level reforms: Jhagra

BIRMINGHAM: Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, Secretary General, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) has termed the drone attacks on territory of Pakistan as attack on country’s sovereignty, saying the issue should not be taken emotionally, as reaction from the US would be harsh.
“Americans are asking us as why Pakistan has provided shelter to terrorists on its soil”, Jhagra said while addressing a reception hosted by PML-N leaders Raja Ayaz Advocate and Sardar Mohsin Abbasi in his honour in a local restaurant. The function was also addressed by Counsel General Birmingham Sher Bahadur Khan while Raja Ayaz Khan, Councillor Ansar Ali, Councillor Shafiq Shah, Councillor Muhammad Ikhlaq, Chaudhry Azhar Hussain, Chaudhry Muhammad Arif, Sardar Murtaza Ahmed, Javed Khan, Syed Mazhar Taj, Chaudhry Aslam Azad, Zohaib Sadiq, Malik Fatah Khan were present on the occasion.
Nawaz Sharif is a patriot and he wants to reforms on highest level to streamline the country’s socio economic system, Jhagra said, adding Allah Almighty has provided chance to Nawaz Sharif and he will grab this opportunity for the sake of country.

Addressing the gathering Khalid Mehmood MP, the anti west and America statements and addresses of Imran Khan have maligned Pakistan’s image and enhanced the negative trends against Pakistan in outer world.
Sher Bahadur Khan, Counsel General said that the want to make it clear the Consulate General in Birmingham is a corruption free area. “If anyone has any information regarding corruption he should bring it into my notice”, he added.
The doors are open for Pakistani and Kashmiri community and all possible efforts are being made to resolve their problems, he said.
Councillor Muhammad Afzal has said handing over Visa and Passport services to a private company has caused lot of problems for Pakistani community. He urged to end processing visa through private company and decrease the fee of passport and visa. he also urged the government to decrease the PIA fares.
Raja Ayaz lauded the announcement by Prime Minister to change the dual nationality law. Councillor Muhamamd Riaz Butt has urged the government to restore the confidence of Pakistani community while Raja Abdul Qayyum said that PML-N workers are being ignored.
