Overseas Pakistanis always raised country prestige high: APKCC

BIRMINGHAM: Pakistan High commission (PHC) LondonĀ  with active support of community has stated to resolve all problems of Pakistanis and Kashmiris overseas community and provide them assistance whenever they need and it is now on your part to bring genuine problems and implementable recommendations, said Fiza Batool, Community Welfare Officer of PHC, while addressing a function organized by All Parties Kashmir Coordination committee (APKCC).
The function was organized by APKCC president Raja Amjid and Tehreek e Kashmir Europe chief Muhamamd Ghalib, while the function was addressed by counsel general Sher Bahadur Khan and senior community leader Moulana Bostan Qadri.
Besides APKCC president Raja Amjid, Muhammad Ghalib, Sarfaraz madni religious scholar, Councillor Afzal, Raja Ayaz of PML-N, Faisal Abro, Abrar Mughal, Taswar Naqvi and many other religious, political and social activists addressed the gathering.
She said that the issues related to passports, computerized national identity cards (CNIC) and visa are being resolved on priority basis.
She said that the matter related to giving visa to contractor and telephone call charged were put with Federal Government and very shortly people will hear a good news regarding these matters.
Fiza urged the overseas community to support PHC sincere efforts to raise the image of Pakistan abroad.
Counsel General Sher Bahadur Khan said that the doors of Consulate General will remain open for welfare of community, recommendations and resolution of genuine problems
The community members have assured the PHC that they will always provide a helping hand in resolution of problems of the community besides raising country’s image
