JKSDM move for debate on Kashmir in British Parliament, assures support

MANCHESTER: Jammu Kashmir Self Determination Movement (JKSDM) Europe, delegation hold meeting with leaders of Labour Party, North West including candidate for European Parliament Councillor Muhammad Afzal Khan and Lord Mayor Manchester Councillor Naeem ul Hassan and briefed them about Signature campaign for holding debate on Kashmir and sought their support in future for making the (JKSDM) campaign a success in North West.
The delegation led by its Chairman Raja Najabat Hussain while other members were patron of (JKSDM) and Advisor to AJK Premier Sardar Abdul Rehman Khan, Secretary General Muhammad Azam, Chairman North West Muhammad Ajmal Mughal, Chairman Yorkshire Chaudhry Muhammad Akram, women leaders yasmeen Dar and Shabana Abbasi.
Lord Mayor Councillor Naeem ul Hassan signed Kashmir Petition and assured the THK leadership to seek support of local councillors and other people for this petition, saying that being a councillor in past he assisted the (JKSDM) leadership in programmes and in future he will continue to raise voice for the freedom of Kashmir.
Councillor Afzal Khan while talking to the delegation said that he had signed the petition and got it signed by others while during his visit to Europe and House of Commons he got it signed by parliamentarian.
He assured the (JKSDM) leaders that he will help to get assistance and support from parliamentarians and Councillors of region for this petition saying that he will ensure participation of Labour Party leaders and workers of North West in signature campaign.
He said that (JKSDM) would get a good support from North West during the debate of Kashmir in British Parliaments.
Labour Parliamentarians will be given petitions on February 5, to make their presence in the house, while Pakistan Tehreek Insaf Yorkshire also assured Raja Najabat Hussain of its support in the campaign.
(JKSDM) finalized the schedule for meeting Parliamentarians and community in North England. All Parties Kashmir Group Chairman Roger Godsiff MP, Glenis Willmott MEP and leader of Labour Party In European Parliament and Parliamentarian from Leeds, Sheffield, Derby, Oldham, Nelson will support the (JKSDM) in its programme and arrange programmes.
