JKLL was established to struggle for freedom of Kashmir: Misfar

LUTON: Jammu Kashmir Liberation League (JKLL) was established by its founding father Khursheed Hassan Khursheed in 1962 to struggle for freedom of Kashmir and highlight this issue in its true spectrum, said Dr Misfar Hussain, President JKLL Britian, while addressing 51st foundation day of JKLL arranged in Luton.
JKLL Luton arranged a graceful function to celebrate the foundation day of the party and senior Leaguers Haji Ch Muhammad Aslam, Raja Riaz and Majeed Ansari jointly arranged the function.
“K H Khursheed was a visionary leader who always strived for freedom of Jammu Kashmir state and utilized all out efforts to highlight Kashmir issue and build a public opinion”, Dr Misfar in his address said.
“K H Khursheed’s rile in giving basic rights, democracy and a government to people of AJK will always remainĀ  in hearts of AJK people”, Dr Misfar said, adding that during his era as President of AJK Khursheed despite little resources developed AJK which has no example.
Khursheed has pride that at the age of 19 years he succeeded to attract Quaid e Azam and worked with Quaid and Khursheed is among people who have created Pakistan, he said.
Besides others Secretary General JKLL Britain Barrister Ashraf Hassan, Dr Zulfiqar, Raja Akbar Dad, Riaz Raza, Raja Kamal Afsar, Haji Cha Aslam, Najeeb Ansari and Kh Lateef addressed the gathering.
They were of the view that it was vision and efforts of K H Khursheed, which gave AJK a government and forced Pakistan to give right of vote of Kashmiri people. They siad that the torch hold by Khursheed for freedom of Kashmir will remain till Kashmir will be free from foreign occupation.
