India to give Pakistan ‘befitting reply’ over LoC violations, warns Shinde

NEW DELHI: As India accused Pakistan of heavy shelling at more than 30 locations along the Line of Control (LoC), Indian Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde said Pakistan will “get a befitting reply,” to the alleged attacks Zee News reported on Wednesday.
According to the Indian media, a Border Security Force (BSF) member and six others were injured during the recent exchange of fire.
“I am reviewing the security situation along the Line of Control and the International Border. Additional BSF troops are being rushed to the Indo-Pakistan border,” he said.
Earlier today, Express News reported that the Indian army violated the LoC in the Sialkot area.
Unprovoked firing and shelling allegedly occurred in the Chaprar and Charwah sectors displacing many people from their homes.
