Efforts to damage Kashmir movement are on: Azmat

NOTTINGHAM: The conspiracies to divide Jammu Kashmir state are at its peak, which is not acceptable to self-esteemed Kashmiri people, who can frustrate these conspiracies, said Azmat A Khan, President Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front UK and Europe Zone.

It is not possible to merge any part of Kashmir with any other country without giving people of entire Jammu Kashmir their right of self-determination, Azmat Khan said while addressing the joint session of Executive Council of JKLF. The meeting was attended by Senior Vice President Councilor Mehmood Hussain, Secretary General Syed Tehseen Gilani, Vice President Malik Manzoor Ahmed Sabri, Malik Latif, Sajid Rashid, Tariq Sharif, Javed Iqbal Rasheed, Masoom Ansari, Nazim Bhatti, Ehsanul Haq Ansari, Muhammad Ashraf, Sajad Satti, Raja Ali Asghar, Mehmood Faiz, Yousuf Chaudhry, Khwaja Muhammad Latif, Zahid Aftab, Raja Kamal Afsar, Abrar Shah, Asif Hussain Shah, Wajid Nawaz, Naushad Manzoor and Amjid Nawaz also addressed the meeting.

“Liberation movement of Kashmir is passing through very crucial time as all our so called friends are busy in causing huge dent to liberation movement”, he said.

The speakers in the meeting said Shaheed Muqbool Butt by sacrificing his life put the nation on the path of freedom and indicated that without freedom Kashmiris will not live an honorable life.

Kashmiri nation has adopted the path of Shaheed leader and is moving forward with fervor and no power on earth can stop Kashmiris from reaching to their destination.

They said Kashmiris will not allow dividing Kashmir on the name of provincialism neither is these steps substitute of right of self-determination.

They said a public rally will be organized in Nottingham on the occasion of martyrdom anniversary of Maqbool Butt, on February 11.
