Bhaag Milkha Bhaag sprinted away with top honors

Mumbai: The greatest Indian living sports legend sprinted away with top honors at the 59th Filmfare Awards. “Bhaag Milkha Bhaag” is based on the life of athlete Milkha Singh.  The award for Best actor has gone to Farhan Akthar for his lead role in the film “Bhaag Milkha Bhaag”. This lucky movie has achieved the awards for Best Film and Best Director (Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra) as well.

Deepika Padukone one of the top heroines of Bollywood has bagged the award for the Best Actress for her performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali directed film Goliyon Ki Raslila RamLeela. The Filmfare Awards is the oldest and most prominent film events dedicated to Hindi films in India. The awards were first introduced in 1954, the same year as the National Film Awards.
