Pakistan’s creation and survival is based on faith: Mankind Trust
London: A faith event by Mankind Trust UK was held in London to promote peace and unity. The occasion was in honour of Shaykh Muhammad Naqib ur Rehman, the custodian of Eidgah Sharif Dargah, Pakistan. Distinguished and eminent international personalities from all over UK were in attendance including former Prime Minister of Pakistan Shaukat Aziz, Lord Sheikh, Walayet Khokhar from Muslim Aid, Met. Police Commander MAC Chishti and Chairman UICF Shahzada Hayat.
Shazada Hayat President UICF (UK) said, “There are over 500 million Muslims in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh, and most of the credit goes to the great saints who travelled from the Middle East to spread Islam with peace, love and compassion.”
“These saints led by example winning the hearts and minds of the converts. Saints such as Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh, Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar, Hazrat Khawaja Ghulam Farid, Hazrat Bahauddin Zakariya, Hazrat Shams Tabrizi, Eidgah Sharif, Hazrat Moinuddin Chishti and Hazrat Shah Jalal. These great saints spread the true Islam as per the Koran, promoting Allah as the supreme power, and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), is the messenger of Allah,” said Hayat.
Other speakers emphasize that fundamental values of the true saints are simplicity who never promoted themselves. They lived a very humble life and served humanity by putting the welfare of the ordinary person first and foremost. These great saints left a legacy behind with a unique and strict code, passed on by father to son for hundreds of years in order for the future generations to continue to serve Islam and humanity, as per the teaching of the Koran, and keep the eternal flame burning around the world in the name of Islam,” said Shazada Hayat.
The international community congratulated and thanked Shaykh Muhammad Naqib ur Rehman the guardian of Eidgah Sharif Dargah for his outstanding dedication, commitment and service through faith to humanity.
