Overseas community real asset of Pakistan: Fauzia Kasuri
BIRMINGHAM: Senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI) Fauzia Kasuri has said overseas Pakistanis are an asset of the nation and they have always shown their love and affection with the country.
Every Pakistani has to play his role for stability and prosperity of the country so that country will gain strength in every field, Kasur said while addressing as chief guest in an Iftar Dinner hosted by Bannatul Muslimeen at Birmingham. Bannat Chairperson Sumaira Farrukh presided over the function. The function was also attended by Raja Najabat Hussain Chairman Right of Self Determination Movement (SDM), Pakistani Counsel General Syed Ahmed Maroof, Anila Asad, Councillor Chaudhry Muhammad Akhlaq.
Pakistani women are playing leading role in every field of life and are facing the hardships and challenge prevailing around them with courage, she said, adding that it is also a good omen that Pakistani women in Britain are playing their effective role, which is a healthy sign.
She praised the efforts of Bannatul Muslimeen in making British Pakistani women active to play their role in British Society and assured full cooperation in the programs of the organization.
Addressing the gathering Sumaira Farrukh said Bannatul Muslimeen is an open platform for Women in Britain where they can play their role for building a better society. They are raising their effective voice for not only British Society but also for development and prosperity of Pakistan, she said.
She said today women have big opportunities and it is their obligation to avail these opportunities for their own-self and for country as well.
Sumaira Farrukh thanked the participants for attending the Iftar Dinner.
