Future of the country is linked with talented Youth: Zubail Gull
MANCHESTER: Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif and Khadim Aala Punjab Shahbaz Sharif have set examples for brightening the future of youth of Pakistan and after sending toppers from all educational boards of Pakistan on education tours to Europe, which has laid an example to raise the standards of the youth to highest level, said Zuber Gull, Federal Commissioner for Overseas Pakistanis.
“Shahbaz Sharif has set an example which will give positive results in future and it has raised heads of Pakistanis world over very high and every feel the future of Pakistan is very bright”, Gull said while addressing an Iftar Dinner hosted by Greater Manchester Pakistani Association in honor of Pakistani students who are on educational tour of Britain and Europe.
Gull said despite crucial situation, PML-N Government is making all out efforts to take country on the path of development and prosperity. Present Government has a firm belief that the future of the country is linked with youth and when they will be encouraged in education they will play better role, he added.
He said he is at the service of community and whole his doors are open to hear the problems of overseas community and make efforts to resolve these problems at the earliest. “I will leave no stone unturned to resolve the problems of overseas community and give them complete peace of mind”, he added.
Mayor of Oldham Councillor Ateeq Ur Rehman the success of these youth is result of their own hard work and special attention of parents and teachers. “We congratulate Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif who opened this opportunity for youth which will prove beneficial for their future as well as for the future of country”, he added.
It is sure the leadership qualities of Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif will definitely lead the country towards new horizons of success, development and prosperity, he said.
Senior Parliamentarian Sir Gerald Kaufman praised the successful and outstanding students of Pakistan saying it is fact that Pakistan is a country of intelligent people.
Yasmin Qureshi MP also praised the touring students saying when in future they will be on highest seats they would use their efforts to resolve all problems of the country and change the ultimate destination of the nation.
European Parliamentarian Afzal Khan said presence of a Sikh student in the touring students of Pakistan is indicative that people from all religions are availing equal opportunities. Pakistan is lacking the true patriotic leadership otherwise there huge potential in the country, he added.
Lord Mayor Manchester Paul Murphy invited the students to take admission in Manchester University for higher education.
Pakistani Consul General of Manchester Dr Zahoor Ahmed, touring student Maria Amin, student from Swat Valley Shahab Khan, Dalohar Singh from Mirpur Khas also addressed the gathering, besides Vice Chancellor Dr Khaleeq uz Zaman, Ali Raza Solicitor also addressed the gathering.
Young Councillor Basit Sheikh conducted the stage while function started with a melodious voice of Shahab Khan who recited Holy Quran and Sadia Batool presented ‘Naat’ in honor of Holy Prophet PBUH.
PML-N leader Haroon Khattana, Sajjad Raja, Raja Waheed Lehri, Community Welfare Officer Sajid Mehmood Qazi and a huge number of students and community members also attended by the Iftar Dinner.
