PTI host reception for AJK President in ‘Little Pakistan’

BRADFORD: “Power have no value and it comes and goes, we are not ready to have power at the cost of national and state interest and remain firm for our rights at any level, said Sardar Muhamad Yaqoob Khan, AJK President.
“We better know how to raise our voice for our rights. We can talk to Ministry of Kashmir Affairs, AJK Council and Government of Pakistan for our rights in a befitting manner”, the AJK President said in a reception hosted by Raja Sheraz Akhtar in his honor. The function started with the recitation from Hoy Quran by Hafiz Jamshed and Sharjeel Malik was stage secretary.
At his arrival in the function hall, AJK President was warmly welcomed by civil citizens and he also met everyone at his table. The function was addressed by former Lord Mayor Muhammad Ajeeb, Ghazanfar Khaliq, Councillor Javed Akhtar (Leeds), Guhar Almas Khan, Ishrat Mirza, Raja Sheraz Akhtar, Raja AD Khan and Asif Khan from Pak-Kashmir Forum.
AJK President declared Kashmiri community in Britain as ambassadors of Kashmiri nation and he called upon educated youth of Kashmiri community to join Army, Navy and other armed forces of Britain and make their future bright.
He highlighted the work he done as health minister and praised the cooperation extended by Bradford in this regard.
The speakers kept the AJK Politics away in their speeches and talked on situation prevailing in Indian occupied Kashmir. They talked on efforts being made internationally for solution of Kashmir issue.
They urged the international media to highlight the miseries of Kashmiri people as it is highlighting the issues of Palestine and Burma. They urged to link the trade unions of Britain so that Kashmir issue will be highlighted effectively at international forums.
The reception was hosted by Raja Sheraz Akhtar in personal capacity but Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf workers were at the helm of affairs in the reception.
This new development has started raising eye-brows towards Sardar Yaqoob Khan and people in low tune are saying he is also joining PTI.
