People celebrate ‘Yaum e Takbeer’ with fervor

BIRMIMGHAM: People belonging to different shades of opinion in Britain celebrated ‘Yaum e Takbeer’ at one place as a national day when Pakistan became nuclear power in 1998.
On the occasion of 18th anniversary of nuclear tests of Pakistan the participants cut cake to mark the day as a big sign of patriotism.
Addressing the function Raja Amjid Khan has said Nawaz Sharif in spite of international pressure conducted nuclear tests and make Pakistan a nuclear power and defence of Pakistan was turned impregnable.
Nawaz Sharif not bowed before the world pressure and the pressure of the US was ignored in presence of national will, he said, adding Nawaz Sharif represented nation not America and he proved that Pakistan will not bow before any pressure.
He said it is imperative for Pakistani nation to join hands to be part of a movement for strengthening the country and the efforts being made for socio economic development must be supported without any discrimination.
He said Raja Farooq Haider Khan is brave like Nawaz Sharif and when he will be prime minister of AJK it will start a new era of development and prosperity in Kashmir and Kashmir will be liberated.
Councillor Waseem Zafar said May 28 is a day of greatness of humanity when Nawaz Sharif frustrated the evil designs of India.
Raja Javed Kayani of Muslim Conference, Raja Faheem Kayani of Tehreek Kashmir, Raja Waqar Aslam and Zuber Khan from PPP, Raja Saqlain of PML-N and Raja Abdul Ghaffar Khan also addressed the function.
